Copyright Notice and License

Wahana Islamika: Jurnal Studi Keislaman applies the following terms to all published articles:

  1. Copyright Retention: Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

  2. Licensing: The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially, as long as they provide appropriate credit and distribute their contributions under the same license as the original.

  3. Additional Agreements: Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.

  4. Self-Archiving: Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

  5. Author Warranties: The author warrants that the article is original, written by the stated author(s), has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained.
